SANO, Eric Eiji - June 13, 1941 - August 19, 2022
Passed away suddenly at the age of 81 years on August 19, 2022 at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Cherie (nee Robinson); sisters, Sharon Martin and Pat Fenn (Jim).
Predeceased by his parents, Jim and Sally (nee Matsumoto); and brother, Rod Sano.
He will be missed by many cherished family members and friends. Eric worked for over 30 years as a Secondary School teacher with the Etobicoke Board of Education, equally respected and loved by his students.
After retirement, Eric loved to walk the dogs, watch all kinds of sports and travel, especially on cruises to Alaska, which he enjoyed four times!
Eric's life was celebrated at a private family gathering on August 25, 2022.
In honour of Eric, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
