May 15, 1972 – November 14, 2023
With deep sadness, I announce the death of my wife and soulmate, Lenni Mae Eubanks, age 51.
Lenni passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on November 14, 2023, in Toronto, Ontario, at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
She leaves to mourn her passing, myself, university sweethearts and best friend of 31 years, Michael; and their only, adored, and cherished son, Owen; and many family and friends. Lenni was born in Toronto and spent her early years in humble surroundings. Lenni used her surroundings as a motivator to strive for excellence and make a difference in society. She used education as a tool, receiving two undergraduate degrees from York University, and a graduate degree from the University of Toronto.
She became a successful communication Executive, and at the same time founded her own charity in 2009 called My First Wheels (www.myfirstwheels.ca). Lenni was known to her friends and family as loving, determined, funny and having an undeniable joy for life.
Thank you to the Oncology teams at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Center for their care and unconditional support during her battle with colorectal cancer.
Friends are invited to a visitation at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 1-4 p.m. Private family funeral service and reception will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Colorectal Cancer Resource & Action Network (CCRAN) would be appreciated.
