CLOUGH, Brendan  -

July 16, 1976 – November 17, 2023

Brendan passed away peacefully, with his dear wife by his bedside, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dayle; and cherished daughter, Bronwyn.

In addition, he leaves behind his mother, Ann Clough; brother, Martin Clough; and sisters, Jane Ann Cleary (Patrick) and Kathleen Cope (Jason). He was predeceased by his father, Herbert Clough, and rejoins him in eternal life.

Brendan will be remembered as a loving husband and father who was devoted to his family.

As the eldest of his siblings, he took this role very seriously and was an extremely supportive son and loyal brother. Brendan will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews in whom he took great interest and an immense delight. He was a generous person with a thoughtful disposition, always seeing the good in others.

Brendan's life was marked by his love of travel, enthusiasm for sports, interest in politics, and passion for print journalism.

For over 20 years, Brendan enjoyed a remarkable and successful career in finance at Beutel, Goodman & Company, Toronto. The family would like to express profound gratitude to the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital and St. Joseph's Health Centre for their compassionate care during his illness.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Lynett Funeral Home (3299 Dundas St. W.). Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Parish (1701 Bloor St. W.).
