SHANNON, Maureen Ann  -  It is with a heavy heart we announce the death of Maureen Ann Shannon.

Mom left her earthly bonds on January 15, 2024, only a few months before her 90th birthday.

We were shocked and our hearts were broken by the suddenness of Mom's passing, yet comforted by the thought she went without suffering.

Maureen is survived by her loving children: James Kohne (Caroline Kohne), Michael Kohne and Sharon Racine. Her son, Jay Kohne (Tracy Kohne), preceded her in death. She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and her nieces, who took such great care of her over the last years.

She leaves behind her surviving sisters: Monica Rundle and Jean Boychuk. Mom, you were loved by many and touched the hearts of all you met with your generous spirit and smile.

We know that Jay will find you and be your guide on this next adventure. We will always love and remember you, Mom; we carry your heart in our heart.

Your love will be a guiding light, a source of comfort, and a reminder that love is, indeed, everlasting.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 25, 2024, 1 -5 p.m., at The Keating Channel Pub, 2 Villiers St., Toronto.
