Laporte DeniseLAPORTE, Denise Landriault Laporte  -  Passed peacefully at home in the early morning of May 2, 2024, with husband Rocky by her side.

 

Born to Joseph and Dianne Landriault on April 30, 1955, Denise was a well-known artist and cherished member of the Art community in Ottawa Ontario.

 

Her work was a reflection of her life, telling stories of magical places born from close observation and deep connection to all living things.

 

A prolific artist, Denise leaves behind a legacy of hundreds of works of art.

Predeceased by her mother Dianne and father Joseph, Denise's memory will be honoured and kept alive by her surviving husband Rocky, children MarieAnne, (Andrew Miller), Phillipe (Tess Parker), Dom (Anais Labreque), grandchildren, Madalin, Benjamin, Louis and Oliver, and her four sisters, Suzanne, Yvonne, Jo-Anne, Pauline and many nieces and nephews.

 

Her spirit of generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
