Johnson BruceJOHNSON, Bruce Arthur   - November 25, 1957 - November 11, 2017

With family by his side, Bruce Arthur Johnson passed away at the age of 59 on Saturday, November 11th, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was a devoted and much loved husband to Cathy for 38 years and will be cherished forever by his two sons Derrick (Kim) and Dillon.

He will be missed immensely by his brother Brian (Christine), son-in- law to Margaret and William Rea Dee, brother-in-law to Susan (Brad) Habbershaw, uncle to Matheson and Genna Habbershaw, Michael (Lorraine) Roberts and Dawn (Ryan) Mallais, great-uncle to John Mallais, nephew to Frank White and cousin to Robert (Julie) White and Laurie White.

Predeceased by his parents Richard and Muriel and his nephew Mark Johnson.

Bruce always had a story for everyone he met, helped out whoever and whenever he could and loved travelling with his family. Coaching his sons in hockey and baseball was always a passion for him. He was also the loudest and proudest fan at their lacrosse and football games.

His favourite pastimes were playing poker with the FBs and relaxing around the pool with family and friends. He built his career working in Customs brokerage and consulting, as an Operations manager in various logistic backgrounds, including cash and transit, facilities management and as a GM for XPO Logistics.

He was a man who always put family first and we are grateful to have known, loved and learned from Bruce.

Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Bruce's life, at his home in Mississauga on Saturday, November 25th at 1:00 p.m.

Being a child at heart, Bruce loved Christmas, so in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
