ARAISH, Richard - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear father Richard Araish on February 17, 2024.
Born to Gabriel and Alice Araish on August 9, 1932 in Jerusalem, Palestine.
Loving Husband of 57 years to the love of his life Diana Araish (nee Marroum).
Father to Gabriel (Tracey Darke), Alice (Franco Martone) and Jackie (Lupcho Yovanovski). Sido to Richie, Yasmeen, Christian, Julian, Vincent, Tiffany, and Ashley.
Brother to the late Issa (Diane), the late Leila (Frank) and Edgar (Nariman).
Brother-in-Law to Ramzi (Marlene), Frieda (Fahim) and the late Mimo Marroum.
Special thanks to Nora who is a very dedicated caregiver who loved our father like her own. Friend to all residents and staff at Westney Gardens.
Richard obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in USA where he worked for 15 years and proudly finished his career at Canada Post. You will be missed dearly by all of us.
Visitation will take place at 1pm, religious service at 2pm on February 22, and reception to follow at Mount Lawn in Whitby.
