GIBSON, Elaine Agnes Gibson  -

1937 - 2024

Elaine Agnes Gibson, passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Elaine was tired and decided to start her departure journey while residing in LTC.

During her last week, she was never alone as she was constantly surrounded with the love of her children, grandchildren and close family members.

Elaine was a cherished mother to Rose Collier (Shaun) and Scott Gibson.

A Loving Nana to Juliana Spyropoulos and Andréa Spyropoulos.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Robert Gibson and her parents Herman and Ellen Richea. Elaine was born on June 11, 1937 in Toronto, where she lived until marriage.

Although an only child, she grew up in a happy and busy home with her grandparents and cousins were always near by. She married Robert (Bob) and quickly had 2 children, Rosie and Scott.

When Bob passed away in 1993, Elaine focused her time, love and attention on her children and especially her granddaughters who were a source of joy in her life.

Throughout her life, Elaine was a quiet and reserved person however when she established a friendship it was meaningful and long lasting.

She lived an uncomplicated life intentionally with strong values, always being honest, reliable and respectful. Enjoying the simple pleasures in life included showing her love and being loved by others.

She will be dearly remembered by her extended family and friends. We will remember her in our hearts, our thoughts, our memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed.

For if we think of her, she will never be gone.

Arrangements with McEachnie Funeral Home.
