COWEN, Brian Henry - Surrounded by the love of his family, Brian (July 26, 1941 — September 11, 2021) passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Brian was a cherished husband, father and friend to so many in the Richmond Hill community.
He was often a man of few words but his kindness was deafening. He had a quiet dignity about him and valued kindness, hard work and family.
He also appreciated the simple things, jelly beans, butter tarts and playing along with jeopardy.

MACHADO, Isaac David Santos - It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Isaac on Friday September 10, 2021 at the age of 37 years.

WATSON, Lillian Margaret - (January 21, 1934 – September 10, 2021) - A good life well lived.
Born in Aurora to her parents Roy & Mary Williams, Lillian met her husband Arnold (Mitch) Watson at a party in Markdale. They were married on August 14th, 1954 and enjoyed a loving, supportive partnership for 67 years.
Lillian & Mitch raised three loving and grateful children, Mike, Rick & Scotty. Three daughters-in-law joined the family, Joan, Angéle & Carol the happy result being her grandchildren Lee, Adrien, Paul & Nico and their children Alexander, Jisu, Jia & Katryna.

KEARSE, Robert 'Bob' William - It is with profound sadness and much love that we mourn the loss of Bob Kearse of Richmond Hill, ON, who passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2021, at the age of 59.
Bob had been in hospital for a few weeks and was thought to be on the mend; however, in the early hours, after spending an enjoyable evening chatting and watching football with Mary, his much-loved wife, Bob suffered cardiac arrest and slipped away.
Bob will be desperately missed and survived by Mary (nee Dempsey), his wife and true love of almost 37 years, and their son, Stephen (Emilee). Bob will be missed deeply by his brother Percy (Laura) and his sisters Pat (Don) and Betty (Larry), as well as his nieces Nikki (Mike), Karen, Cindy (Jason), Colleen (Brandon), Erin, Brigitte, Philippa and Clementine and his nephews Craig (Nicole), Ian (Erin), Brian (Stephanie), Addison, Yves (Becky), Nolan, Grant and Ryan.

ARELLANO, Anacorita Alanguilan - Our beloved Nanay passed away peacefully resting in her bed on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Kipling Acres Nursing Home.
She was an extremely strong woman and that is thanks to her long-standing relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Despite her failing health her love for her family and strength from the Lord kept her with us until she reached 92 years of age.
She was someone who wanted to live a long life for her family and thank the Lord that she did.

SENA, Autilia - Autilia Pizza Sena was the first daughter born to her parents Rocco and Petronila on April 5th, 1921 in Cassano Irpino, Provincia di Avellino, Italy. She grew-up in a happy family with her parents doing what she did best, farming the land.
Autilia married her husband, Salvatore Sena on December 23rd, 1942 just before he went to serve, and survive World War II. The war was over, and they reunited to start a family.
In March of 1957 Autilia and her four children, Rosa, Rosario, Josie and Bart joined her husband Salvatore, who was already in Canada, via the naval ship the Queen Frederica in the hopes of a better life. Autilia would recount her long and harrowing travels, alone with four children, on the Atlantic Ocean, her arrival in Halifax and eventual destination via train to Toronto, where she and her children were reunited with Salvatore.
Raising a family on Grange Avenue they were blessed with two more children, Tina and Mary.

FELDT, Margaret Morrison - Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Friday, September 10, 2021, almost three weeks to the day after the passing of her husband Joseph Feldt.
Mother to Steven and Marilyn Fountain and the late Stuart. Stepmother to Rhona and Larry Stein, Diane and Jeffrey Weiss, Len and Ethel Feldt.
Marg is also survived by her brother Jim McVeigh, her niece/nephew Gina and John Watson.

WARAICH, Gurpuran Singh - May 30, 1932 - September 10, 2021
Gurpuran Singh Waraich, jagirdar and socialist, was born in Hakumatpur, Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India, the son of Captain Gurdial Singh Waraich and Harbans Kaur Dhillon, at midnight, with the full moon in attendance.
He began an MA in history at the University of Toronto in 1960 and organized and danced the first bhangra ever in Toronto there at its arts festival. (See Torontonensis '62 p.78.)

MILLER, Joan Barbara - May 24, 1933 - September 10, 2021
Joan passed peacefully in her sleep after suffering with Dementia for the past few years.
Beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Joan loved her family above all else was very much loved in return.
Special thanks to the staff at Regency Long Term Care Home in Port Hope for their care, kindness and friendship over the past few years.

NASIOPOULOS, Stavros “Steve” - Our family is deeply saddened by the passing of “Steve” of Stouffville, Ontario.
He reposed the early morning of Friday, September 10, 2021 at Markham/Stouffville hospital at the age of 78.
Steve is survived by his daughter Jane, son Vasili (Bill), daughter in law Catherine, grandchildren Christina and Matthew, his three sisters Voula, in Chicago, Lela, Georgina and her husband George in Toronto and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Koula (Nee Konstantopoulou), his father Vasili and his mother Gianoula.

Born Cintra Moosai-Maharaj on October 30, 1936, in San Fernando, Trinidad, she grew up on the island before venturing across the ocean to obtain her medical degree in Ireland.
While studying at Trinity College in Dublin, she met her lifelong love and future husband, Dr. Patrick Cassidy.
