SKALA, Rose 1926 - 2021 On Monday, August 9, 2021, Mom went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Rose was predeceased by her loving husband Jerry.
She was a loving and caring Mom to Peter (Linda) Skala, Sue (Marv) Reimer and Sharon (Jim) McMinn and will be greatly missed. Proud Grandma of Dave, Phil, Matt (Meghan) and Emily (Matt) and Great-Grandma to Everly, Wesley and Locky.
Mom grew up in Windsor, ON where she began her career in advertising working in Detroit.
She was also active in Windsor's Baptist Young People's.
It was through these friendships that she met Dad.
They married in 1954 when she relocated to Toronto where she lived for over 60 years.
Mom was a faithful Baptist. Her life was full.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Stephen Searle following a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of Christina, loving father to Kim (Geoff), cherished brother to Dwight (Cindy), Ralph (Louise) and Teena (Hans).
Stephen was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Fern along with his brother Keith.
Remembered by his sister-in-law Cathi (Howard).
Stephen was a treasured Uncle to Steph (Jay), Melissa, Kyle (Heather), Hailey and Cody.

MIAULT, Frances (Francesca) Mary - 1920 - 2021 At 100 years of age our cherished mom, Nona, great-grandmother and aunt passed away at peace in the late afternoon on August 9, 2021, at the Chartwell Waterford Long Term Care in Oakville.
Frances was born in the East End of Fort William, daughter to Vincenza and Dominic Brescia. During the war she met Leo, fell in love and married in Halifax.
She returned to Thunder Bay and worked a bench manufacturing parts of the spitfire airplanes at Canada Car.
Following the war, they settled in Thunder Bay raising their four children.
Frances is the last of her generation.
She was a gentle, caring, happy woman devoted to her family.

DUKE, Sandra (nee SOLOMCHUK) - 1947 - 2021 Sandra passed away peacefully in Mississauga, on Monday, August 9, 2021, with her family by her side.
Sandra fought a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Loving mother of Jodie and her husband Brent Cator, Angie and her husband Adam Howden-Duke, and Colby and his wife Tara Duke.
Adored grandmother of Sedona, Taryn, Nathan, Jackson, Irelyn, Caden and Madison.

CRUICKSHANK, Gordon Richard - May 4, 1965- August 9, 2021
It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Gordy, on Monday, August 9, 2021, at the age of 56.
Beloved son of George (Maureen) and the late Elisse. Loving brother of Steve (Vicki).
Devoted uncle to Jamie, Shawna, and Erin. Much loved by his Aunt Judy Edwards (Ron), and cousins Colleen and Shannon.
Gordy was predeceased by his grandparents Ben and Dorothy Cruickshank.
Gordy was born in Toronto in 1965 and the family moved to Mississauga three years later.
A terrific athlete, Gordy played baseball and hockey throughout his childhood years, participating on many championship teams.
After two very successful years with the St. Michael's Buzzers Junior Hockey Club, Gordy headed to the United States, attending Providence College on a Division I NCAA full hockey scholarship.

PARKER, Audrey Grace (Osmond) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Grace on August 9, 2021 at the age of 93.

JELLEY, Joan Verna - On August 9, 2021, Joan passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Palliative Care at the age of 91.
She is predeceased by Michael, her devoted husband of 52 years.
She leaves behind her loving daughters, Barbara (Calvin) and Victoria (Roy) as well as her five grandchildren, Griffin, Matthew, Eric, Jason and Claudia.
Joan was an active person who taught figure skating, enjoyed golfing and curling. She was a decades long member of the Beta Sigma Phi organization as well as Sweet Adelines International.

PARKS, Angela Parks - 1969 - 2021 -
It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Angela on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the age of 52.
Loving daughter of the late William and Joyce Parks.
Angela leaves behind to mourn her sister Alison; her cousins Elaine, Glen, Drew, Anita and their families overseas.
Angela was a kind, generous and dedicated award-winning real estate agent.
She will be truly missed by her family, her many friends and colleagues.

PATERSON, George R. - Peacefully passed away on the evening of Monday, August 9, 2021 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He was 91 years of age.
Born in Canada on May 9, 1930, then raised in Aberdeen Scotland, he would later return to Toronto in the 1950’s. He initially worked in real estate development and later joined IBM where he worked for more than 30 years.
During the late 1960’s, he was transferred to IBM France where he served for five years in Paris.
During the early 1980’s, he served in Hong Kong as Chief Financial Officer for IBM South-East Asia. He would later return to Canada where he retired as treasurer of IBM Canada in 1990.

WINSOR, Susan Glennis - A woman of grace and compassion, passed away on August 9, 2021 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and friends.
Beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, friend. Educator, designer, gardener. Christ follower.
Susan made a lasting impact on all who experienced her genuine smile and kindness. It is a comfort to know Susan’s spirit now resides with the Lord.
In her home hangs a hand-scripted verse, “I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.” John 12:46.
Her faith inspired her to be the Light, emanating warmth and positivity.
This same faith illuminated the sure path she has followed to Heaven.

It is with immense sadness that the family of William Davis announces his passing on August 8, 2021.
After spending much family time in his most favourite of all places, his cottage in Georgian Bay, Dutch died of natural causes at home in Brampton, surrounded by members of his family.
He was 92 years young.

GAYLER, Angela Kathleen - (1934 - 2021) - It is with immeasurable sadness and a heart in tatters, that I share the news of my beloved mum Angela’s passing. Mum slipped away gently, quietly and blessedly at peace on Sunday August 8th, 2021.
Gone before her and far too early, were the loves of her life Stanley, and her wee jewel Caroline.
There simply aren’t enough words to breathe life into this tribute that would serve to paint an adequate portrait of this extraordinary woman, wife, mother, niece, in-law, friend and Grangie. If you knew her, even just a little, you were indeed fortunate. For she truly was a woman of incredible substance.
