PORTANOVA, Maria Gaetana - God called Maria Gaetana peacefully on December 16, 2018 at the age of 98. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Giuseppe.
Cherished by her dear children, Lucia (Rocco Di Feo), and Pierina (Leonardo Fazzari). Proud Nonna to Franco (Fiorella), Caterina (David Malgi), Giuseppe (Bessie), Salvatore (Wendy), and Tony (Angela). Adoring Bisnonna to Andrew, Matthew, Joshua, Jacob, Kinsley, Taylor, Adamo, and Gia.
Maria Gaetana is now reunited in Heaven with her sister, Francesca. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Tuesday December 18, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. and continuing Wednesday December 19, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday December 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., at Martin Grove Rd.). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (on Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.).
If so desired, donations in memory of Maria Gaetana may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
