MARK, James Stanford - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Jim on January 14, 2019.
He died as he lived, with courage and strength, after a valiant 8 year battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 57 years, Doreen, his devoted daughter Sandie (the late Craig), his doting grandsons Steven (Ann) and Andrew (Brooke) and great-grandson Benjamin Mark.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Shirley and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers Jack, William and Robert.
Family and friends will gather at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, for Visitation on Saturday, January 26th from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday from 10-11 a.m. Funeral will take place Sunday, January 27th at 11 a.m. with reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scarborough General Hospital Foundation or Valentia Church and Community Centre Inc.
