Mafrici AntoninoMAFRICI, Antonino (Tony)   -  Passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2020, with the love of his family surrounding him.

Born in Delianuova, RC, on November 4, 1938, Tony was an exceptionally hardworking man who began his craft in carpentry at a young age.

In 1961 he immigrated to Toronto where he worked tirelessly to build his business from a passion of designing and creating beautiful furniture.

A selfless and exemplary man whose generosity knew no boundaries and whose love for his family was immeasurable. He moved through life with humbleness, grace, gentleness and sensitivity.

Tony will be remembered as an opera lover, artisan, world traveler, and food enthusiast, but mostly, a devoted husband, father and cherished Nonno. Tony dedicated his life to his family, and nothing brought him more joy than being in their company. He will be dearly missed by his loving children, Giovanni (Tina) from his first wife, Mariangela (deceased 1982); and Nina Maria (Paul) from his second wife, Anita (deceased 2006); and his adoring grandchildren, Sarah, Max and Mia.

He is survived by his sister, Gina, and predeceased by his two sisters, Maria and Pina.

He will be forever remembered as the loving 'Zio Nino' by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. A private funeral service will be held December 22nd.

A celebration of life will be held when it is safe to gather together.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
