Macchione Antonio TonyMACCHIONE, Antonio 'Anthony' 'Tony' - Antonio (Anthony/Tony) Macchione was born on June 13, 1955 in Malito, Cosenza, Italy and passed away on January 27, 2021 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 65 years.

Antonio was predeceased by his beloved wife of 30 years, Lilliana and by his mother Luisa Germanese and his father Francesco Macchione.

He is the loving father of Melissa and Marcel and cherished grandfather of Jackson. Brother to Carmine (Michelle), Vince (Rose) and Mario (Sandra). Uncle to Jacqueline, Paul, Chelsea, Elizabeth, Francesco, Victoria, Marco and Great Uncle to Miles.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his great sense of humour, kind heart and many funny stories of the past, by his extended family and dear friends.

The Macchione family greatly appreciates your gestures of sympathy and words of condolences at this very difficult time. Due to the current COVID–19 restrictions, the visitation and funeral services will remain private. Entombment at Prospect Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted with Jerrett funeral home, St. Clair Chapel, Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Memory of Antonio Macchione can be made to the Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre (‘Shelters, Drop-in and Housing Program’ Fund) and/or The Scott Mission. These organizations were close to his heart as they provided practical, emotional and spiritual support for Antonio in the last few years of his life.
