Turylo SteveTURYLO, Steve (Stefan) - It is with deep sadness our family announces the passing of our cousin Steve Turylo on Monday February 1, 2021 at the age of 92.

Steve was born and raised in the village of Koropiec Ukraine.

As a young man and in pursuit of better prospects, Steve along with his father, made the bold decision to immigrate to Canada.  

They took advantage of the tremendous opportunities that were being offered and decided to settle in Toronto.

Steve was a general labourer throughout his working years until retired.

Steve was predeceased by his parents Georgil and Paraskoviia, his brothers Alex and Fitco, cousins Michael and Ronald Wasilishin.

Steve leaves behind, niece Julie (Nadia) Wargo (Turylo), cousin Mary Kushnirenko and extended family and relatives in the Ukraine as well as 2nd cousin Lynne Kushnirenko, Steve, Terry and Lesia Wasilishin.

He also leaves behind his companion Olga Radzihovskaia.

Steve’s funeral will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, Annette Chapel, Toronto on February 6, 2021 and will be laid to rest at Oakville.  

Due to pandemic restrictions, both services can only be attended by immediate family.
