CANCELLIERE, Elvira - Age 87, passed away peacefully with her two children by her side on March 21, 2021.
She was born on October 24, 1934 in Cosenza, Italia to Emilia DeLuca and Pietro Falbo.
Elvira and Ernesto were married on September 30th, 1967 and have been lifetime best friends and partners ever since.
They adored each other and always cared for each other.
Elvira loved to love people. She was a thoughtful, selfless person who always put everyone else first.
She loved cooking, her baking was renowned and she could sew like no one’s ever seen. Her children and husband were her life, always making sure they were cared for. Regardless of her own trials, she would always check in on her loved ones, no matter how she was feeling.
Elvira was a kind hearted, gentle woman with an infectious smile that would light up the room. Her strong faith gave her strength and courage to persevere anything that came her way.
Elvira is survived by her husband Ernesto, her two daughters and their husbands Diana Cancelliere (Donato Meola) and Fiorenza Cancelliere-Memmo (Claudio Memmo.) Her grandchildren Sierra Emily Stadnyk, Dania Claudia Memmo, and Nicole Fiorenza Memmo.
Elvira left this world more love and gentleness, and heaven gained a superstar. She always told everyone to “Enjoy Life” as that was her way, and the only way.
Rest in peace sweet mother, you have taken pieces of our hearts with you. Look after us.
Arrangements with Bernardo Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, Toronto on March 24, 2021. The service will take place at St. Roch's Roman Catholic Church, 2889 Islington Avenue, Toronto on March 25, 2021 at 10:00am. Interment to follow.
