Gillies GeraldineGILLIES, Geraldine (Gerry) Frances (nee GEOFFREY)   - March 29, 1927 - April 25, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family announces Geraldine's passing after a short illness peacefully in Kitchener, ON.

Geraldine is reunited with her husband John (predeceased 2016) and will be celebrating their 72nd anniversary together.

She is survived by her son Robert Gillies and his wife Connie of Thornhill, brother Gerry Geoffrey (wife Carmen) of Coniston, sister Carole Larrett (husband Gary) of Skead, sisters-in-law Gert Gillies of Waterloo and Norma Gillies of Peterborough.

She will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Frances and Gerald Geoffrey, brother Sonny (Jacquie), sister Mary (Ray) Lang, brothers-in-law Don and Ken Gillies, nephews Neil Geoffrey, Timothy Gillies and niece Laura Dempster.

Due to Covid restrictions a Funeral Mass and burial will be held in Sudbury at a later date.

Special thanks to all the staff at Westhill Retirement Home for the excellent service provided during her stay at the home. S

pecial thanks, also, to all the staff at Grand River Hospital and the wonderful nurses at the Freeport Palliative Care Centre for the caring and compassion shown to her in the short time she was there.
