Train RogerTRAIN, Roger - (Retired Fire Capt. Etobicoke Fire Dept.)

(1938 - 2021) - It is with much sadness we announce the passing of a dear husband and father. Roger passed peacefully at the Mississauga Trillium Hospital on Sunday, June 20, 2021 with his family by his side.

He will be lovingly missed by his wife of almost 60 years Evalyn (nee Merritt) and his devoted sons Mark (Ann Bryan) and Norm (Stephanie nee - Spicer). Proud grandpa of Clayton, Alanna, Bradley and Jennifer – how he loved to playfully tease them!

Roger will be greatly missed by his sisters Joan Shaw and Patricia Ponzo, his in-laws and many nieces and nephews and their extended families.

As per Roger’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will follow. Arrangements entrusted with Ridley funeral home.

Our sincere thanks to the doctors and nursing staff of Mississauga Trillium Hospital for the care and compassion shown to our beloved one.

In memory of Roger Train, donations to either St. Andrew’s Memorial Presbyterian Church (memorial fund) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
