GROSSE, Barbara Ann (nee CODY) - After a lengthy illness, Barbara Ann Grosse (Cody) passed away peacefully in the ICU of Sunnybrook Hospital, in the loving arms of her daughter, on June 22, 2021.
Beloved mother of Stephanie Alexis, loving sister of Patricia Spence (Tom) and Ernest Cody "Butch".
Predeceased by her mother (June) and father (Ernest).
Barbara was a retired teacher who lovingly taught kindergarten for over 30 years.
She enriched the lives of many young minds and forever made a difference.
Children, gardening and animals were some of the most important things to Barbara.
She had a way of providing everything she touched with unconditional love.
She was one of the purest and most giving people, yet peacefully strong through every battle she ever faced.
She will remain forever missed and remembered By all those who knew and loved her.
The family asks that donations in her honour be made to the Kidney Foundation or local Humane Society Mama, our hearts will forever beat as one, a bond that can never be undone.
