Beltran FelyBELTRAN, Felicitas 'Fely' De Guzman - Passed away calmly at the age of 83, on June 25, 2021 under the wonderful care of the 6M floor at St Joseph’s Health Centre, after a short fight and sudden diagnosis of cancer.

Born on December 28th, 1937 in San Antonio, Philippines.

She is the daughter of parents Domingo and Consuelo, and the sister to siblings Caridad Sison, Alfredo De Guzman, Rogelio De Guzman, Rosalinda Jimenez, Milagros Pabalan, Isabelito De Guzman, Sheirrel De Guzman Tenoso, Ma. Theresa De Guzman, Ma. Fe De Guzman, Ma. Rosa De Guzman, and Frederick De Guzman.

Married for 56 years to Wilfredo “Fred” Beltran. Mother to children Erwin (Ana) and Franz (Theresa). Beloved lola and Mama Fely to grandchildren Jessica, Kai, Katie, Alyssa, Samantha and Quade.

Born and raised in the Philippines, her and Fred immigrated to Canada with their sons in the 1960s to live the Canadian dream.

While in Canada, Fely had many jobs finding a home working for the Canadian Pacific Rail until retirement in 2002.

In her younger years she was an avid bowler and ballroom dancer, as well as an active member in the Filipine SCA Canadian Social Club Inc.

Many know Fely for her baking. The many cakes, cheesecakes, casavas and leche flans, made for birthdays, debuts, weddings, and family celebrations.

Her life will be celebrated through her religion and faith as she has always wanted, and will return back to the Philippines to rest with other members of the De Guzman family.

Her memory will be best remembered through her family, love, memories and prayer.
