PERERA, Sunil Pius Ranmal - Sunil Pius Ranmal Perera, 71, of Toronto, Ontario, succumbed to cancer at the comfort of his home surrounded by his family on June 28, 2021.
Sunil is survived by his wife Madubala of 46 years, Sumangi Jayaweera (daughter), Ranmal Perera (son), Chaminda Jayaweera (son-in-law), Kushlani Perera (daughter-in-law), grandchildren Surangana, Amada, Audrianna and Lilianna, sisters Ramani Perera and Nilmini Perera, many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
Sunil was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone.
He worked as the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of the National Savings Bank Sri Lanka, and had a banking career spanning over 35 years. He was a past president of the Y’s men club and was a director of the YMCA moratuwa branch.
He was a great ballroom dancer and loved various sports. Sunil never hesitated to help relatives and friends or anybody who needed help.
A special thanks to all the medical staff for their wonderful care and support during his final days.
Viewing will be from 10am to 12 noon and Funeral services for Sunil will be held at the Scott Funeral Home, Mississauga chapel on Thursday, July 1st.
Sunil will be remembered by all his family and friends and will remain in our hearts forever.
