VIRDIRAMO, Maria Ficarella - (October 22, 1924 - October 3, 2021)
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria. Maria passed away peacefully at Woodhaven LTC on October 3, 2021.
Maria will be forever remembered and cherished by her loving family.
Her loving son Michael and wife Joanne, daughter Angela and husband Joe.
She was a very special Nonna to Marianne, (Joe) Billy, (Diana) Sean and Mark (Bernadette) and doting great grandmother to Julia, Kristen, Angelina, Cassie and Gianni.
Predeceased by her brother and sister Felicino and Melina, she leaves behind her sister Nicoletta.
She will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, friends and extended family.
Maria was a kind and sweet soul who touched everyone who was blessed to know her. She loved her family with a deep passion, and when she left this world, she took a part of us all with her.
The family would also like to extend a thank you to the caregivers and wonderful staff at Woodhaven for showing compassion and kindness while Maria was there. Our world will never be the same without her, but we know she is already watching over us.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021 6:00pm - 9:00pm. the service will take place at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church, 3898 Highway #7 East, Unionville on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at 10:30am.
Although our hearts are broken,we will not say Good-bye, but instead say "until we meet again...".
