SWIFT, William (Bill) Clive - February 21, 1934 – October 8, 2021
Bill passed away peacefully, on Friday, October 8th, at Hillcrest Village Care Centre in Midland, ON, at the age of 87.
He will be missed by his daughter, Laura Ellis; beloved grandchildren Zachary and Michela Ellis; and his sister, Betty Milne.
Predeceased by his father Clive Swift, mother Olive Milne and stepfather Samuel Milne.
Bill ran his alarm company, Security Systems of Canada, for over 30 years before he retired to his cottage near Bluewater Beach, Tiny Twp., in 1999.
He often talked about his good fortune in having a long, healthy and interesting life. His appreciation for a variety of music styles, butter tarts and red wine lasted right up until his final days.
The family extends their great appreciation to Dr. Held and the entire staff of Hillcrest Village for their wonderful care, kindness and respect for Dad and our family.
We want to acknowledge staff at Hillcrest (and all front-line health care workers) for their endurance and sacrifices made during the past year and a half.
We would also like to thank Sherry Moreau of LeClair Cremation for her warm support and guidance.
Per Bill's wishes, there will be no funeral or service.
