Gosewich JackeeGOSEWICH, Jackee - On October 31, 2021 at 9:30 p.m., Jacqueline Gosewich's last soft breath set her free from the heartlessness of Parkinson's disease.

Darling wife of the late Arnold Gosewich, Jackee, 85, is the adored and adoring mother of Robin and Billy, Stephen and Risa, and the forever besotted grandma of Charlie, Molly, Annie, and Harrison.

Her transition was without fuss or fear, and we thank her for letting us know that.

Jackee's first and greatest love was always her family. She made each one of us feel like her favorite because to her, each one of us was exactly that. She listened quietly with interest and compassion and taught us all, through her model, to consider our actions and be kinder people.

When her beloved husband, Arnold, died suddenly two years ago, we worried that our mom wouldn't be able to live without him, but she surprised us all. While she missed him terribly, our mother also regained her voice and showed her strength, never wanting to bother anyone in her family, remaining supportive and sweet and involved.

We want to send heartfelt thanks to our mother's devoted caregivers, Thelma and Mariebel, our palliative nurse, Emily, and the entire staff of The Teddington, but specifically Betty, Mary, Nadine, D.J., and Will. Our mother loved to laugh - even during an awkward moment. Mom, there's no wrong time anymore - let your laughter roar.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 03, 2021.

Memorial donations to Parkinson Canada.
