LAU, Mabel (nee LYNN) - Passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2021 at the age of 91.
Born June 2, 1930 in Fort Erie, ON. Dear wife to the late Kwong Kew (Dick) Lau for 55 years.
Loving mother to Graydon John Lau (June) and loving 'Grammy' to Taylor, Mackenzie, and Cameron - her grandchildren were the world to her.
Predeceased by siblings Henry, Mary, Margaret, Norman and Verna, and survived by Betty, Mabel was the youngest of the family. Mabel loved to travel and saw many parts of the world.
She lived life to the fullest and overcame many health obstacles in her later years. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her numerous friends.
Visitation to be held at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, Toronto, on Friday, November 12th from noon to 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow.
Mabel was always grateful to Sunnybrook Hospital and Dr. Herschorn for extending her life.
If you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre – Urology Department can be made in her memory.
