SPRINGETT, David Ronald Springett Sr.,   -    April 13, 1940 - November 10, 2021

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our dear father, David Springett, in his home surrounded by the love of family, at the age of 81 years.

Dave will be lovingly remembered by his children: Tammy-Lee (Daniel) McGregor and David Springett; grandchildren: Bailey and Caitlyn McGregor, Daniel, Kyle and Sarah Springett; great-grandchild: Moira Springett, as well as numerous relatives, friends and neighbours.

Dear son of the late Reta (Springett, nee Mockler) and George Holland.

Predeceased by his father, Frederick Springett.

Cherished brother of Patsy Ouellette (Ron), William Springett, Robert Holland (Judy), Margaret Boudreault (George), John Holland (Darlene), Darlene Turner (Dave), and the late Donna Boudreault, Evelyn Balanoff and Mary Williams.

Dave had a kind heart and was always willing to help family and friends. He made buddies and pals wherever he went. Dave loved gardening, paying particular attention to his fragrant red American Beauty rose, which he would proudly cut and offer to his neighbours.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kevin Workentin and Dr. Jing Li of Michael Garron Hospital and Katarina from Spectrum for their exceptional care and compassion.

The family would also like to express our true appreciation to the other nurses and personal support workers that took great care of Dave in his final days at home.

A private visitation for family only will be held in Scarborough, on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Bladder Cancer Canada.
