Predeceased by her husband the late Frank Cancelli.

Loving mother of Bob (Mary Jane), Laina (David), Joanne (the late Merv), Debbie (Ross) and Paul (Mary Jane).

Cherished Nana of April, Lawrence (Lisa), Elizabeth (Brent), Rossy (Franca), Bobby (Lesley), Cari, Marisa (Matt), Melissa, Lindsay (Carlo), Nicole (Jeff) and Anthony (Rachel).

Proud great-nana of Chelsea, Ashley, Adam, Tyler, Kyle, Keira, Calista, Rossy, Audrey, Owen, Avery, Grant, Samantha, Antonio and Santino. Dear sister of Joan (the late Bob), the late Joseph, Cecilia (Frank) and Eugene (Brenda).

Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mabel Niosi.

Elaine will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews family and friends.

Elaine's family was one of the premier musical families of the Big Band era.

Her father, Joe Niosi was one of the best bass players in Canada and her Uncle Bert was Canada's King of Swing. Elaine loved to dance and her fun-loving personality was a joy to her family.

She was a loving, devoted mother, admired by many. Always classy and kind, she was a beautiful person inside and out.

Even at an advanced age, she was mentally very astute, engaged, and a wonderful conversationalist.

She was the heart and soul of the family and leaves behind a great legacy as well as a huge void.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private family visitation and mass will take place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Covenant House Toronto would be greatly appreciated.
