HASSALL, Phyllis Mary - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother at the age of 89 on December 5 ,2021.
She is now reunited with the love of her life Ray Hassall. Predeceased by her parents Zita and Jack MacDonald, siblings Marie and Louie.
Survived by sister Marg (Lindsay), Frank (Betty Ann). Children, daughter Karen (Lloyd), son Gordie.
herished grandmother of Kevin, Val ( Ernel), Crystal (Shaun), Ryan (Ann Marie), Jesse (Morgan), Christopher (Victoria), Cierra ( Tommy). Great grandchildren Dylon, Kyra, Cole and Greyson.
For those of you who knew Phyllis she was an extraordinary kind hearted and outgoing person. She was the life of the party and known to most as “ Dancing Nanny”. She was a lover of gardening and family gatherings. She spent most of the summer days tending to her flower and vegetable gardens.
Phyllis would light up every single room she walked into with her bright smile and sense of humour. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her instantly fell in love as she made a lasting impression.
A special thank you to Mississauga long term care for their care and compassionate shown to our mother and grandmother for the past 2 years.
