Arnold DorothyARNOLD, Dorothy Arnold   - 90, passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour peacefully, on Saturday, December 4, 2021, surrounded by family.

Dorothy was born in Bitola, Macedonia, the daughter of Peter and Vasilka Stoicheff.

She married George Arnold in 1960, the love of her life for over 55 years. Dorothy worked for the Toronto Board of Education and was instrumental in developing and implementing the Physical Education Curriculum in public schools.

Retiring from her teaching position after the birth of her first son, she devoted her time to Ladies Christian Outreach and became a well-known and respected bible teacher, as well as a mentor to many.

She was actively involved in the Community Bible Study and took part in her final class 3 days prior to her passing.

Dorothy was an avid reader, knitter and baker. A lover of Scrabble and other games and a fierce competitor, Dorothy always played to win. Dorothy's deep Christ-centered faith was the most important part of her life and governed the way she lived. Her faith inspired her to be a kind and generous woman, with a warm, outgoing nature; Dorothy touched many lives.

She was the beloved wife of George (deceased 2015), mother of George (Bimpe), Don (Emily Liman) and Doug (Danielle), grandmother of Alexandra (Ryan), Khristopher, Jacinta, Calista, Parker, Peyton (Cadance), Emerson, Zachary and Amanda, and the great-grandmother of Gabriel, Madison and Jordan.

A service of celebration will be held in June 2022.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Community Bible Study at www.communitybiblestudy.ca.
