PURVIS, Robert Franklin  -  Robert Franklin Purvis passed away peacefully at Amica, London on December 5, 2021.

He had returned to Canada from retirement in Panama City, Panama for health reasons five years ago and found a happy home, excellent care and many good friends at Amica.

We are told he was very popular there, entertaining his friends with his witty comments and telling endless stories about his experiences in life.

Bob was born in Toronto 1939, the sixth child of the late William Frank Purvis and Ada Margaret Purvis (nee Peel).

He was predeceased by his sister Joyce and three brothers William, Burton and James. He leaves behind a sister, Carol; daughter, Andrea; granddaughter Jordyn as well as seven nieces and nephews with families of their own.

Bob was an excellent teacher with a Master of Education degree. He earned his undergraduate degree at Waterloo.

Bob will be very much missed. The family is most grateful to the staff at Amica and his palliative care team for taking such good care of him right to the end.

There will be a small, private family gathering in Bayfield, Ontario to celebrate his life and interment will be in Toronto at St. John's Norway.
