JEFFREY, Marion Theresa   -  It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marion on December 17, 2021 in her 98th year.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William (2008) and treasured sons Michael (1968) and Mark (2013).

She was the devoted mother of Sheila Redpath (Ken), Richard (Linda), David (Bonny) and Lisa Hayman (Scott) and daughter-in-law Lynda.

Marion was the proud grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 13.

Marion will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Marion will be remembered as a strong and fiercely independent woman.

She was a pioneer female entrepreneur, establishing Marion Jeffrey Personnel Ltd. in 1976 in the heart of Toronto's financial district. For more than 30 years, she helped launch many careers at some of the most storied firms on Bay Street.

She was a generous woman who loved singing, dancing, karaoke and playing cards.

She was a master at crossword puzzles and Scrabble. As a member of the Bronte Legion for the last 13 years, she reveled in the friendship and sense of community she found after moving from Roseneath, Ontario, and returning to her long-term home in Oakville. Bingos and Saturday evening dances kept her young at heart.

The Jeffrey family offers deep thanks to the staff at Ian Anderson House for the compassionate care offered to Marion during her time there.

A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Dominic Parish in Oakville on Wednesday December 22nd at 10:30 a.m. Please note, proof of vaccination will be required in order to attend the Mass.

Donations in memory of Marion to Ian Anderson House or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
