Mallory DouglasMALLORY, Douglas Allan   -  It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Doug Mallory at the age of 70 at the hospital in St. Catharines, Ontario with his wife Cindy by his side.

Doug and Cindy had a very special love affair that never changed in 33 years.

We mourn but also celebrate an amazing guy with a huge heart who spread joy to all who knew him.

He will be dearly missed by his sister Jackie (Ron) and brothers Joe (Karen), Robin (Briana) and Tim (Leslie) and by Cindy's siblings Kathy, Brad (Elizabeth), Bill (Meghan), Vicky (Gus), and Doug (Tara).

He was also loved by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and an enormous number of friends from his private and professional life. Doug had a long career with Air Canada, and subsidiaries The Gemini Group and Galileo.

Doug was a talented craftsman and artist, creating many masterpieces of fine and exotic woods. Among his many creative endeavours he was an exceptional stone carver, photographer, and glass blower.

Doug was dearly loved by our extended family and will leave a huge hole in any future gatherings. He also leaves a smile on the faces and tears in the heart of so many friends who will miss him greatly.

Due to limitations related to Covid, the planned funeral has been cancelled and a limited gathering will be held for Doug and Cindy's siblings and spouses.  A more extensive gathering will be held when Covid risks have diminished.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in Doug's memory to be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
