Browne JuneBROWNE, June Dorothy (nee BLOMFIELD)  -

June 13, 1934 - February 2, 2024

June passed away peacefully, in her 90th year.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Harold; and survived by her sister, Barbara (Chilvers) of Chelmsford, Essex.

Much- loved mother to Andrew (Fay), Tracey (Fraser), Wayne and Jennifer (Philip).

Proud Granny to Vanessa, Dylan, Bryn, Sophie, Caitlin, Matthew, Liam and Declan. June came to Canada in 1955 to work in the banking industry.

She worked for Simpsons and later Sears for over 25 years, and at the Bank of Montreal as a teller.

Her honesty and stern ways made her a well-loved person in the community, as did her faith to St. Matthew's Anglican Church.

She enjoyed her exercise classes, aqua-fit, gardening, and long walks with her dogs. She excelled in baking, especially pies using produce from their garden.

They looked forward to travelling winter months to New Zealand to be with Jennifer and her Kiwi family.

Her infectious smile will always be cherished.

Celebration of Life for both June and Harold will be scheduled in the summer.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
