GYOTOKU, Clayton Morikuni  -

June 9, 1940 - March 14, 2024

Clayton Morikuni Gyotoku passed away peacefully at his home. He will be remembered for his love of life, his kindness and his generosity.

Clayton was the only son of the late Unta Gyotoku (father) and Fumie Gyotoku (nee Nakano, mother); and leaves his loving partner, Jessie Ebata. Clayton retired from his position with Molson Brewery after forty years.

He will be missed by his cousins, Jane Ejima and Nancy Sumi in Toronto; his many cousins in BC, Winnipeg and Manitoba; and relatives from the Ebata family who remember him as "Papa" and "Uncle Clayton." Thank you to the doctors, nurses, and PSWs for their excellent care.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto.

Donations in his memory can be made to the Clayton Gyotoku Fund c/o Toronto Foundation, 33 Bloor Street East, Suite 1603, Toronto, ON M4W 3H1.
