Tudos GeorgeTUDOS, George -

1935 - 2024

On March 17, 2024, with his family by his side, George Tudos passed away peacefully, at the age of 88.

George, a loving husband of 60 years to Lillian, will be remembered by his daughters, Jessica (Jeremy), and Vanessa (Brian); by his grandchildren, Aidan and Sebastian; his sisters, Judit, and Julia (Kalman); and sister-in-law, Fabiola. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter (2013).

His nieces and nephews, Susan (Nikos), Laszlo (Carol), Tom (Kriszta), Kristina (Steve), George (Amy), and Erik (Genevieve), will remember him fondly. He was predeceased by his niece, Ildiko (2020).

Born in Hungary in 1935, George and his family moved to Colombia in 1956, where he met Lillian. After travelling the world as flight attendants, they settled in Canada.

In Toronto, George co-owned Modern Trend Interiors and later joined Nature's Scene Art Gallery. As a player, fan, and member of Mayfair for more than 50 years, George loved tennis. He also loved hockey, and was committed to watching the Leafs try to win Lord Stanley.

George's welcoming nature led to memorable pool parties, special celebrations, and late night card games with family, friends, international students, and his precious grandchildren.

Please join us Saturday, March 23, 2024, at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, ON M2N 5Z5, at 2:00 p.m. for his Memorial Service and Reception.
