NOSEWORTHY, Margaret "Dolly" - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret "Dolly" Noseworthy on Friday, September 28, 2018.
Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on November 4, 1937 to Henry and Olive Langley (deceased).
Predeceased by husband David Melanson, daughter Noelle and son Ralph.
Loving mother to sons Terry (Carlene) of Barrie, Ontario and Rick of Houston, Texas.
Dear sister of Douglas Langley (Diane). Immensely proud of her 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was never happier than when visiting with her family and being called Nana, Super Nana or Banana Nana.
Will be greatly missed by her sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially her best friend Kay Langley. In 1974, she moved with her three boys to Mississauga starting a new life surrounded by her brothers, sisters, extended family and close friends who provided both love and support.
A long-time member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 582, Cooksville, she was a past President of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Special thanks to the staff at the Respiratory Inpatient Unit at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie; PSWs from Saint Elizabeth Healthcare, Barrie; and the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County.
A service Celebrating Mom's Life will take place at the Turner and Porter Peel Chapel, Mississauga, on Saturday, October 6, 2018 with visiting starting at 2 p.m. Reception to follow.
In Mom's memory donations to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County would be appreciated.
