Born in Montreal on November 16, 1923 to John O'Brien and Florence McLean.
Predeceased by his wife Sheila Finn (2017) and infant daughter Bridget (1956).
He leaves to mourn his children Barry of Malaysia, Colleen (Paul Leroux) of Ottawa, Patricia (late Stephen Johnson) of Toronto and Kevin (Louise Laurendeau) of Montreal; their children and grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff and management of Forest Hill Long Term Care and Bridlewood Trails for their exceptional care and compassion.
A private family service will be held and he will be laid to rest beside his late wife Sheila in St. Patrick of Fallowfield Cemetery at a later date
