Pemberton RobertPEMBERTON, Robert Tudor  -  September 20, 1937 - December 2, 2018

Surrounded

by family, Bob passed away peacefully and gently at Markham Stouffville Hospital, December 2, 2018 in his 82nd year. Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend, Colleague, Teacher, Coach.

Bob is survived by and lives on in, his children A. Robert T. Pemberton (Lori A. Reeve) and Lori L. Tindall (Ted Tindall) and his precious grandchildren Megan M. Tindall (Spencer Scott) and Connor J. T. Pemberton; his brother John T. Pemberton (Primrose Pemberton), sister Deborah W. T. Law (Douglas Law) and their extended families.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Carol Joyce Pemberton (nee Norton).

Bob will be remembered for his curiosity, sharp mind, integrity, warped sense of humour, big heart and home full of hospitality by his Earl Haig mates, colleagues from Griffiths Laboratories, former staff and students at St. Andrew's Junior High School, neighbours, friends and adoring family.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all the health care team members at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Markham Stouffville Hospital for the tremendous care they provided over the past several weeks.

A celebration of Bob's life will be hosted by the family at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, Markham, on Friday, December 14th from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Please bring your best memories and stories to share. After a period of healing, the family will hold a private interment ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
