FRASER, Frances Alberta (nee McMULLAN) - September 15, 1927 - December 9, 2018
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, knowing that she was much loved.
Cherished wife of Howard Fraser for 62 years, devoted mother of Tory Molgat (Bob), Lindsey Barclay (Scott) and Kristie Burkhart (Peter), beloved grandmother of Reid, Fraser, Jordan, Taryn, Kendra, Mitchel, and Paige.
Alberta was predeceased by her sister Edith "Corky" Ralph, brother-in-law Bob Ralph, her brother Bob McMullan, and her brother-in-law Carson McMaster.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Joan McMaster and Kay McMullan, and her many nieces and nephews.
Alberta had a great zest for life, she especially loved music and dancing, and enjoyed a good party. Born in Toronto, Alberta also lived in Sudbury where the family spent much time together skiing, sailing and camping.
After moving to Oakville in 1975, Alberta and Howie developed many cherished friendships through the Bronte Harbour Yacht Club, Glen Eden Ski Club, Atomic Energy Retirees Association and the Bronte Walking group.
Special thanks to the wonderful caring staff at the Westbury Long Term Care Residence.
A private family memorial was held.
If desired, donations may be made in Alberta's name to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
