McConkey RobertMcCONKEY, Robert (Bob)   - We are saddened to announce the passing of Bob (Robert) McConkey, on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Mississauga Trilliium Hospital, at the age of 78.

Loving Husband of Gail (Roulston) for 49 years.

Beloved Father of Colleen (John Hutter) and granddaughters, Jordyn and Taylor. Heather (Brent Hannam) and granddaughter, Jade.

Brother of Joan Meek, Oakville and brother-in-law of Judy Negley, Pennsylvania.

The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses, personal support workers (Janet and Emi) and his great friends who have looked after him over these many years.

This wonderful man left this world and there are so many words to express how much we loved and will miss him and how much he has instilled in all of those who knew him.

He truly had the biggest heart which never failed even through all he has endured. He leaves a legacy of artists in his grandchildren and has left them with a gift that will bring joy to everyone for years to come.

For these past months he has poured himself into hundreds of paintings which reflect all of him, his life experiences, emotions and his three birds representing his granddaughters flying high in the sky.

This is not a goodbye for we feel we will see him in everything we do for many years to come. We were so blessed to have him leave us with such wonderful gifts within ourselves to carry through life.

Our Angel...Robert Christopher McConkey.

Bob was a legend and one of a kind. You are not alone on your journey. Cremation has taken place.

In his honour please give generously to a charity that is close to your heart.
