GORDON, Penny Aviva - December 26, 1956 - January 25, 2018
The family of Penny Gordon is heartbroken to announce her passing in Seattle, Washington.
She fought cancer for nine years.
Penny is survived by her beloved sons Zachary and Jackson, their father Rolfe Philip and her two Leonbergers, Gaia and Rio. She will be missed by her brother David (Beth) and nephews Hugh (Kailey), Adam (Erin) and Josh.
Penny was predeceased by her parents, Rachel and Philip Gordon and her sister-in-law Marlene Rafman Gordon. Penny was spirited and vivacious.
She energized and illuminated every room she entered. She was a gifted writer and her prose could move one's heart.
Penny loved travel and she made friends throughout the world. She marched to her own drum beat and we all marvelled at her drive and courage.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 10th in North Bend, Washington from 4-8 p.m. Donations in Penny's memory may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
