It is with deepest sadness that we share the passing of Nancy Joan Stewart at Huron Hospice, Clinton on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. She is extremely proud of her children Lauryn Button (Justin), Malcolm Smith (Sydney) and Haden Smith (Ashley). They will always be her pride and joy. Nancy was thankful for the unconditional love of her husband, Mike Craig. Nancy was blessed to share in his children’s lives, Hayden and Emily. Nancy always had a special place in her heart for Morgan and Mitch. Nancy is survived by her mom, Joan Stewart, siblings Liz Gras (Pete), Bill Stewart (Melissa), Mary Lou Ricard (Greg) and Susan Campbell (Mark). She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her dad, Malcolm Stewart. Nancy was lucky to have amazing friends who were always up for an adventure.

Nancy taught us to live life to the fullest. Even after her diagnosis, she continued to love life and enjoy the quiet moments. She found great peace in sunsets, birds, and every day moments. She loved the outdoors.

Her biggest wish was that you find what makes you happy and do more of it. Live life to the fullest and do not take anything for granted.  Be present and do not be afraid to leave your phone behind. Not everything can be captured through a camera lens.

Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Tuesday, August 18th from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date. Interment Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth.
