Peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, March 27, 2026 at St. Josephs Hospice in Sarnia. Wayne Lassaline, 71 years, of Arkona and formerly of Oil Springs. Wayne will be missed his wife of 46 years Karen (nee Downie). He will also be missed by his daughters Angela (Robert) Clouse and Monica (Dave) Thatcher, and his grandchildren Tristan, Jonathan, Amberlee, and Logan. Wayne is survived by a sister Carol (the late Allan(2013)) Jaques, and nephews Jeff, Mike, Richard, Brian, and Shain He was predeceased by his parents Jerry (2001) and Catherine (2012), a sister Delores (2008) (the late Russell (2013)) Jaques, and a niece Melissa (2023). An avid gardener, he could spend hours planting and nurturing his gardens, he thoroughly enjoyed spending time in his gardens. He also enjoyed woodworking and loved renovating his homes.
Visitors will be received on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia.
