Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll. Bill Wilford of Ingersoll in his 57th year.

Beloved husband of Karen (Van Ryswyk) Wilford whom he married July 6, 1996. Loving father of his girls Allison, Rebecca and Emily all at home. Loving son of Jean & the late Fred Wilford of Ingersoll. Dear brother of Mike and wife Angie of Norwich. Step-son of Bruce Williams and son-in-law of Bernie & and the late Tony Van Ryswyk.

William Frederick “Bill” Wilford was a 38 year Firefighter in the Township of South West Oxford, currently serving as the District Fire Chief of the Mount Elgin Station. He had a 24 year career working at General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada

Friends and family will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Chapel of the Glendinning Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S. Ingersoll on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel in Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
