It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Robert William Prudhomme on March 20, 2026, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, Ontario.

A lifelong Sudburian, known and loved by many in his community where he was employed by Ainsworth Inc as a Construction Manager.

Rob was known for his silent strength and legendary sarcastic wit that could brighten any room. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Laurie (née Leach), and a devoted, proud father to his daughter, Taylor and step-daughter Amanda Lawson and her fiancé Jason Ramsay and grandfather to their son Easton.

Rob was the dear son of Harvey and the late Mary Prudhomme (nee Pawluch) (predeceased). He will be deeply missed by his sister Debbie Jack and his brother James and wife Kate Muller. He was a cherished uncle to Scott, Kyle, Alfie, and Michael.

The family wishes to thank the medical team at Health Sciences North for their care and compassion during Rob’s final days.

A Celebration of Rob’s Life will be held at Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home at 233 Larch St. Sudbury, Ontario on Thursday, March 26, 2026, between 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Civic Cemetery.
