It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Vadori on July 2, 2026, at the age of 89, after a brief battle with cancer. Surrounded by the love of his family, Frank passed away with the same quiet strength and dignity that defined his life.
Frank was born on May 27, 1937, in Morsano al Tagliamento, Italy. At the young age of 16, he courageously immigrated to Canada in 1953, where he built a life founded on hard work, determination, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
On January 6, 1956, Frank met the love of his life, Adeline (née Bagatto). Their love story blossomed into a lifelong partnership when they were married on September 13, 1958. Together they shared nearly 68 years of marriage, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Frank was a devoted husband, a proud and loving father to Paul Vadori (Nicole) and Debbie Coulson (Rob), and an enthusiastic supporter of his grandchildren, Andrew Coulson (Susan) and Jacob Coulson (Josie). Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his three beloved great-granddaughters, Paisley, Percy, and Tessa, whose visits always brought a sparkle to his eyes and a smile to his face.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, Ida and Umberto Vadori, and by all of his siblings: Christina, Elsa, Valentino, Lucia, Alba, Lino, and Valerio.
He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers-in-law Frank Bagatto (Gail) and Nereo Bagatto. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Fr. Joseph Bagatto and his sister-in-law Judy Bagatto. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him greatly. The family extends a special thank you to his niece Louise and nephew Joe for their constant support, and to his longtime friend Silvia for her treasured friendship, many enjoyable card games, and always being there when needed.
A man of integrity and dedication, Frank worked for over 30 years at Purity Dairies, later known as Ault Dairies, where he earned the respect of his colleagues through his strong work ethic and commitment.
Even in retirement, Frank believed in giving back to his community. He proudly volunteered for Hospice of Windsor and Essex County for 17 years, faithfully serving at the OLG Lottery Booth at Caesars Windsor. He was also a proud member of the Fogolar Furlan Club for more than 30 years, where he enjoyed celebrating his Italian heritage.
Frank found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid cyclist who could often be found enjoying long rides, and a passionate gardener who took pride in nurturing his vegetable gardens. Whether on his bicycle, tending his vegetables, or spending time with those he loved, Frank appreciated every moment.
Above all, Frank’s greatest accomplishment was his family. He was a hardworking, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose kindness, humility, generosity, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew him. He led by example, teaching the values of honesty, perseverance, and compassion. His legacy will live on through the family he cherished and the countless lives he influenced.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kinnette, Dr. Brydges, and the compassionate staff at Windsor Regional Hospital – Metropolitan Campus, as well as Dr. Bergeron and the caring staff at Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, for their exceptional care, kindness, and support during Frank’s final days.

Family and friends are invited to meet directly at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd.) on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 10:30 am until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, in honour of Frank’s years of volunteer service and in appreciation for the compassionate care they provided.
Frank will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
