It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gail Nadine Carreau (nee Houser) on Saturday August 22, 2026, at the age of 70. In her final act of generosity, Gail graciously gave the gift of life as an organ donor.
She was the beloved mother of Michelle (Brendan) Watson and Derek Carreau. She will forever remain in the hearts of her grandson, Riley Watson, and grand-dog, Charlie. She is predeceased by her husband Bertrand Carreau and by her parents Mona and Edwin Houser and brothers Terry, Stan and Monty.
The family invites friends and relatives to celebrate Gail at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland, on Sunday August 30, 2026, from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. There will be no formal service, please drop by anytime.
