Kenneth “Ken” Leonard Bourdeau

July 24, 1934 – January 26, 2026

Man with short dark hair, wearing a green shirt.

Passed away at the age of 91 on January 26, 2026. Reunited with his beloved wife of 62 years, Eileen (2024). Cherished father of Leonard (Bernadette), Thomas, Matthew and daughter-in-law Julie. Proud grandfather of Sarah and Stephan. Predeceased by his parents, Alda and Ernest, and siblings Doris, Jean, Ernest, Eileen, and Roy. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Ken retired from Chrysler after 35 years of loyal and dedicated service, a career he took great pride in.

He was a man who appreciated the simple joys in life, and nothing made him happier than taking his beloved wife, Eileen, out for peaceful Sunday drives.

Ken had a lifelong passion for cars, especially classic cars, and he loved sharing stories about them with anyone who would listen. His pride and joy was his very first car, a 1929 Ford Model A, which he purchased at just 16 years old and spoke of fondly throughout his life.

Ken also loved gathering around a table with others, making sure everyone enjoyed a good meal and never left hungry. Ensuring that people had a full belly brought him great joy; he hated to see anyone go without. His generosity and warm hospitality were felt by all who knew him.

At Ken’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with interment at St. Anne’s Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME – BANWELL CHAPEL (519-253-7235).

In kindness, donations in memory of Ken may be made to Feed the Children or Doctors Without Borders. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.windsorchapel.com
