It is with immense love and great sadness that we announce the loss of Thomas Michael Mostardi, who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 67.
Thomas is lovingly survived by his beloved wife, Vanessa; children Anthony (Chelsea) and Jennifer (Scott); grandchildren Talia and Rayna; and siblings Kathy, Greg, Maria, Cheryl, and Kim.
He now goes to join those who passed before him, including his father Stephen, mother Gretchen, and brother Ben.
Thomas was born on June 21, 1959. He was a stubborn man who kept to himself and enjoyed doing things his own way. Baseball was a big part of his life, whether he was spending time at the baseball field in Winfield or coaching the game. He also enjoyed golf and online golf, and in the past worked as a bouncer at Gotchas and a technician at FormAShape.
Thomas had plenty of his own quirks and favourites, from playing Crazy Frog and Techno Music to his strong dislike of mayonnaise and tomatoes. He will be remembered for his independent personality, his love of baseball and golf, and the many little things that made him who he was.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Reception will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM, located at Springfield Funeral Home Family Centre, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
