We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2026, at the age of 80, Joan Isobel Laws (Stayner, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Don; her daughter Wendy Kenwell (Allan); her sister Dianne (late Russell Holt); her brother-in-law Jim Laws (late Rose); and her son-in-law Ken Curran.

She is survived by: her sons, Danny (Michelle) and Brian (Amanda); her grandchildren, Dillon, Josh (Amberly), Braydan, Brianna (Jack), Maranda (Geordin) and Kristofer; and her great grandchildren, Logan and Nixon. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel (7313 ON-26, Stayner, ON L0M1S0). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Jubilee Presbyterian Church (7320 ON-26, Stayner, ON L0M1S0). A reception was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

If desired, donations in Joan’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation.
